United India's Sporting Legacy: Sons of Employees Shine in Ranji Trophy Quarter Finals

In a heartening turn of events, United India Insurance Company Limited celebrates not only its remarkable success in surpassing the previous year premium but also the outstanding achievements of two young cricketers who have etched their names in history during the Ranji Trophy Quarter Finals.

Breaking a record that stood for 78 years, Mumbai's cricket team witnessed an extraordinary feat as both their No. 10 and No. 11 batsmen scored centuries. Tushar Deshpande, with a magnificent 128 runs, and Tanush Kotian, unbeaten at 120 runs, showcased exceptional talent and determination on the field.

What adds a special dimension to this achievement is the proud association of these talented cricketers with United India. Tushar Deshpande is the son of Mr. Uday Deshpande, an Assistant at United India, while Tanush Kotian is the son of Mr. Karunakar Kotian, a Senior Assistant.

Remarkably, both Mr. Uday Deshpande and Mr. Karunakar Kotian were recruited under the sports quota, a testament to United India's commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent in various spheres, including cricket.

This remarkable tale not only highlights the prowess of these young athletes but also underscores the rich sporting culture fostered within the United India family. As we celebrate their achievements, we also extend our heartfelt congratulations to the proud parents and commend United India's ongoing support for talent and excellence in sports.
