GIPSA writes to United India Insurance, request to credit the pension amount on 28th February

Sir,

We would like to draw your kind attention that this year Holi festival is fallen on 1st March to 3rd March, and in northern parts of our country all the three days are declared holidays by the states.

In view of this pensioners will not get their pension of February 18 on 1st March from the banks and banks are closed from 1st to 3rd March and next day happens to be Sunday, 5th March will be the earliest day of the month when banks will start their regular business, Pensioner who are depending only on this pension money will find it difficult to survive.

We would therefore request you to please advice LIC pension dept. to credit the pension amount in pensioners bank account on 28th February which will give great relief.

We expect you to take a positive decision in this regard immediately.
