GIPA Honors Women: Celebrating International Women's Day

The General Insurance Pensioners Association (GIPA) marked International Women's Day with a celebration filled with inspiration, camaraderie, and appreciation. On March 8th, 2024, at the IMC, the event commenced at 2:15 PM with a heartfelt prayer led by Ms. Dishita Gawade and Ms. Sandhya Ghag, setting a tone of reflection and gratitude.

Welcoming esteemed guests with bouquets and gifts, GIPA's General Secretary, Mr. U Banerjee, extended warm wishes to all the ladies present, embodying the spirit of the occasion. The event's chief guest, Mrs. Suchita, eloquently spoke on the topic of women's remarkable ability to balance the demands of family and work life, inspiring all in attendance.

The celebration continued with enriching activities, including a rejuvenating yoga session led by Mrs. Shah and an insightful discussion with physiologist Ms. Yasmin Siddique. Guests from Oriental and National Insurance added to the vibrant atmosphere, fostering connections and camaraderie among attendees. A delightful surprise puzzle and quiz section brought laughter and excitement, with participants receiving well-deserved gifts for their engagement. As a token of appreciation, snack boxes and gifts were distributed to all participants, concluding the event on a high note.

In her closing remarks, Ms. Indira Sreekumar expressed heartfelt gratitude to the GIPA committee members and extended special thanks to the Ladies' Wing for their invaluable contributions to making International Women's Day a resounding success.
