GIPAIF delegates met Chairperson, GIPSA, Ms Suchita Gupta at Mumbai

Today, GIPAIF delegates met Chairperson, GIPSA, Ms Suchita Gupta at Mumbai, National MBRO 2.

We wanted to know the status of the recommendation on the increase of Family Pension from 15% to 30% by GIPSA to DFS.

She conveyed matter is under active consideration by DFS. It is given top priority by GIPSA and she was positive for approval by DFS shortly. Regarding paying the medical insurance in installments, she advised us to write to other CMDs so that GIPSA Board can clear the same and the same will be there after effective from next year renewal time.

We also discussed other important issues but because of the paucity of time, she suggested sending mail to her so that she takes up the issues in GIPSA.

We shall write to all CMDs again to take up all our long pending demands including a relook over the SVRS 2004  employees case at par with SVRS 2003 Class two employees benefit which was considered by  GIPSA by giving them five notional increments last year.

Let us prepare ourselves for a longer battle to get genuine and justified demands as enjoyed by RBI, NABARD, and SBI pensioners.

U. Banerjee.
General Secretary.
GIPAIF.
